Classes

Classes are starting to migrate over to zoom! Beginning weaving and project based classes will be held in 2 hour sessions on multiple days depending on the project. There will always be at least one day off in between the sessions to allow time to weave and get to the next step. In addition there will be a weekly Weaving Workshop every Wednesday for quick check in, problem solve, or to get inspiration. A minimum of 2 people need to register for a class to run. Once there are enough people signed up for a class to run, you will be contacted for payment to secure your place.

Honeycomb Heather Class
$80.00

The wavy lines in a Honeycomb weave are created using pick up sticks and are the result of areas of plain weave contrasting with warp and weft ends floating over and under the fabric. Adding color interest accentuates the effect. The sample here is woven using 5 colors of Purl Soho’s Pocket Posey yarn, but any sport, fingering, or lace weight yarn will work well. Pattern is available with class.
